I first went to Haiti in August 2010 with Myron Beasley, a critical ethnographer, and photographer Keith Lane. I spent time documenting artists and arts organizations in Port-Au-Prince and Jacmel, as well as other NGOs like CARE, Architecture for Humanity, and Haiti Water Project who were (and are) working on the ground to solve many of the country's needs. I returned to Port-au-Prince in January 2011 to document moments of the anniversary of the 2010 earthquake. These are some projects that came out of my time there.
